My cannon joint came apart but didn't break, just needed a drop of super glue to fix and working fine now. You'll need to cut the thumb free from the fingers on his left hand so he can hold his combi stick/extendable spear which collapses and feels just like the HT one. I think a bit of hot water will fix the dredds easily enough though. The dredds were a bit warped by whoever boxed him and came with an extra loose one for some reason, it's not from his head, I've checked thoroughly. The really nice ceremonial dagger doesn't fit all the way into the scabbard so don't force it! Great that they included it though!

There are no pipes for the cannon or the helmet (I'm not sure if the helmeted version comes with any but I doubt it).

The armour is a bit more rubbery than HT's but but not cheap, just not rigid. Head articulation is a bit limited as they used the older Predator City Hunter body that has a ball joint on the base of the neck but only a swivel on the head to neck connection unlike the 1st gen AVP bodies that have ball joints for both neck connections. No Helmet or closed mandibles with this version but you can choose which version you want for the same price and the heads are completely compatible with all the HT option parts too which was a great surprise, very useful if you have one of the three HT AVP Preds already or you might find the parts loose online.

Shoulder armour has been simplified to one piece and not two, they haven't used straps on it or the thigh armour either. They're the same as the ones they used on their Fugitive Predator but aren't movie accurate to that version at all either, they're very soft and fall nicely though. The dredds, no idea where these originate from! (I own all the 1/6 Pred figures I know of including MacFarlane and Medicom). No extra hands but the ones provided are the best choice imo. is a bit bland compared to HT.įeet are less defined, the sandal spikes are blunter and shorter, the paint on the skin of the feet reminds me of Cheetos! Only this area of skin so an easy fix.Ī bit lighter over all that HT as this is City Hunter Predator hollower body whereas HT used solid parts on the AVP Preds. Paint on body as far as skin shading, layers, details etc. Painted netting, not real like HT but well done. I won't do a pros vs cons list as the pros list would take forever! It's the 1st generation Scar, never saw a reason to 'upgrade' to the later version. I got the HC Toys Scar Predator for £65 which is the normal price and one heck of a deal! I'll turn him into the Chopper Predator as I missed out on that one by HT but before I do I thought I'd do a comparison with the original/official Hot Toys version this is an affordable clone/KO of.
